Dr Neville Bolt is the Director of the King’s Centre for Strategic Communications (KCSC), the leading global centre of academic expertise in Strategic Communications. He is a Teaching Fellow and Research Associate in the Department of War Studies at King’s College London.
Dr Bolt is Visiting Scholar at the University of Oxford and a Senior Fellow at SCERU, University of Tokyo. He is also Editor-in-Chief of Defence Strategic Communications, the peer reviewed academic journal of NATO Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence.
Dr Bolt spent much of his career as a television journalist and producer-director in news and current affairs at the BBC, ITV, and CBC (Canada). He specialised as a producer of war zone documentaries, covering conflicts in Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, and Indian subcontinent.
Later he created strategic communications campaigns for Britain’s Labour Party; Amnesty International; the African National Congress (ANC)/Anti-Apartheid Movement. He also served as communications advisor to UEFA Champions League football.
