
DEI Training Specialist & Program Coordinator at University of California, Riverside
Megan is an accomplished Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Training Specialist at the University of California, Riverside, with expertise in program management, health education, and DEI initiatives. She has a strong focus on community engagement, leadership development, and stakeholder collaboration. Since July 2022, Megan has been instrumental in designing and implementing DEI programs, such as the Chancellor's Making Excellence Inclusive Diversity Certificate Programs, with an emphasis on cultural competency, conflict resolution, identity development, bystander intervention, implicit bias, imposter syndrome, and community engagement.
With over a decade of experience in higher education and public health, Megan previously served as Program Coordinator for UCR's LGBT Resource Center and has collaborated with numerous nonprofits, including Planned Parenthood, TruEvolution, and the San Bernardino Department of Public Health. Her professional affiliations include the Consortium of Higher Education Resource Center Professionals, NASPA, and ACPA.
Megan holds a master’s in public health education from CSU San Bernardino and is dedicated to advancing DEI efforts and fostering inclusive environments through innovative, culturally competent strategies.
