Instructor at LCI Education at LCI Education
I’ve been a member of the LCIEducation tutorial staff for 16 years. Touching everything from video editing to animation, motion graphics to sound design and integration and finally video game design. I’ve always been fascinated with the creative process and video game design lets all my interests come together like no other discipline.
I started by studying music in high school and CEGEP. The various bands I played in always relied on me to design demo covers, concert posters and other forms of marketing material, so I got involved with graphic design, motion graphics, special fx and audio integration.
During a recording session, the studio we were at had a game console with the game ‘metal gear solid’. While the others were putting down their tracks, I started playing this game and i…was…HOOKED! After the session, I bought my first PlayStation and never looked back.
On top of playing the games, I wanted to look behind the scenes, so I started exploring Poser and Daz 3d. That led me to 3DS Max, Zbrush, Maya, Blender and countless others.
Although I’ve been more involved with portfolio design and job market integration for the past few years, I keep myself up to date on software, techniques and trends.
I’m looking forward to helping you during your journey.
