Nathaniel Baverstock

Nathaniel works for the Law and Policy Programme at Amnesty International. For the past four and a half years, he has managed the internal law and policy approvals system for Amnesty globally. He also provides advice and reviews documents on all human rights issues and across all regions. Before working for Amnesty International, Nathaniel was the Practice Manager for the legal team at the Howard League for Penal Reform, a UK based (and focused) prison reform organisation. The team provided publicly funded legal services to children and young adults under the age of 21, who were in or leaving custody, on a range of prison law and community care matters. Nathaniel holds degrees in BSc Social Policy with Social Psychology and MSc Criminal Justice Policy from the London School of Economics.
