Niels König

Niels König studied physics with a focus on solid state physics and biomedical engineering at RWTH Aachen University. From 2007 to 2013, he was a research assistant in the "Production Metrology" department, where he headed the "Fiber Optics" group from 2010. His work focused on the design and manufacture of fiber optic microprobes for interferometric distance measurements and the development of special measuring systems. In September 2013, Niels König took over as head of the "Production Metrology" department at Fraunhofer IPT.
