Patrick Ting

Dr Patrick Ting graduated from the BSc (Hons) in Optometry programme at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He obtained a PhD in Optometry from Queensland University of Technology. He served as a Lecturer at the University of Manchester (Singapore), School of Chemical and Life Sciences, Singapore Polytechnic. Dr Ting also served as a clinical tutor for Optometry training at the Tan Tock Seng and Khoo Tech Puat Hospitals in Singapore and established the paediatric clinic service at the West Coast Optometry Clinic in Singapore.

Dr Ting is now a Clinical Associate in the School of Optometry. His clinical interests include primary care optometry, binocular vision, and paediatric optometry. He is extensively involved in clinical and didactic teaching in the undergraduate programme and has received the FHSS's Faculty Award for Outstanding Performance/Achievement in Teaching.
