Pia Hansson

Pia Hansson is the Director of the Institute of International Affairs at the University of Iceland and its three centres: the Centre for Small States Studies, the Centre for Arctic Studies, and Höfði Reykjavík Peace Centre. She oversees strategic development, staff supervision, and coordination of research, events, and grant writing in international affairs and foreign policy. Pia holds degrees in Communication (University of Minnesota) and International Relations (University of Iceland) and has professional experience in broadcasting, diplomacy, and international monitoring missions.
