Poonam Tewari

Ms. Poonam Tewari, M.Sc. & MBA, Deputy General Manager & Senior Faculty, State Bank Institute of Credit & Risk Management, Gurugram has worked in various capacities in retail, SME & International Banking in her career of about three decades with State Bank of India. Her major assignments include Deputy General Manager (Financial Reporting & Taxation), Chief Operating Officer at Bank’s Singapore Office and Assistant General Manager (Administration). Her areas of expertise are retail & SME lending as well as Compliance & Risk Management. In her current role as Deputy General Manager and Senior Faculty she leads a team consisting of eight experienced faculty members. She has keen interest in reading.
