Randall L. Kennedy is the Michael R. Klein Professor at Harvard Law School, where he teaches about contracts, criminal law, and the many ways in which race has figured in US law. He has authored several books about race and the law, including Race, Crime, and the Law, winner of the Robert F. Kennedy Book Award. He served as law clerk for the U.S. Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall.
