Davidson is the William James and Vilas Professor of Psychology and Psychiatry at the University of Wisconsin–Madison where he has been a faculty member since 1984. He is the founder of Humin (formerly known as Humin (formerly known as Healthy Minds Innovations)), Inc., an external, affiliated nonprofit dedicated to supporting the mission of the Center for Healthy Minds.
