About Me

Robert is global Human Rights Education Project Manager at Amnesty International. He has several years of experience teaching human rights, language, literature and teaching methodology in Austria, Poland, Russia, Egypt and on the global level. Robert’s passion for human rights was sparked 2011 when he worked as a lecturer at Ain Shams university in Cairo during the uprising. Currently Robert is leading the implementation of Amnesty’s third Massive Open Online Course on Human Rights Defenders leveraging on his expertise in instructional design and education technology to create action oriented online courses. Robert is also an experienced web content and social media manager, who previously worked on developing strategies to advance social media and website engagement with Amnesty International Austria. He studied human rights and literature at the University of Vienna, Austria and University College London, UK.
