About me
Sam Reeve is PhD student in the Strachan Research Group within the School of Materials Engineering at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. He obtained his B.S. in Materials Engineering from Iowa State University in 2013. His interests fall in the intersection of materials and computational sciences, focusing primarily on atomistic simulations and uncertainty quantification. Specific projects have ranged from investigating novel properties of martensitic and ferroelectric nanostructures to understanding errors arising from the input models in molecular dynamics. He has helped created multiple nanoHUB tools enabling online simulation for materials research and education and has twice won the Magoon Award for excellence in undergraduate teaching from the Purdue University College of Engineering.
