Sara Florence Davidson

Sara Davidson is a 12-month lecturer in the Faculty of Education (Indigenous Education) at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in western Canada. She works with teachers and teacher candidates to learn more about how to include Indigenous perspectives and pedagogical practices in their teaching practice. Sara’s research has focused upon the use of autobiographical and narrative writing to engage in the writing process and to explore identities, as well as the mandating of Indigenous content in the curriculum. She has also explored ways to merge the strengths of Indigenous and non-Indigenous pedagogical practices.
