Shuaib Lwasa

Shuaib Lwasa is a Professor of Urban Resilience and Global Development at the International Institute of Social Studies, Erasmus University Rotterdam based in The Hague. He received his B.A in Geography at Makerere University in 1995, his Masters in Geographic Information Science for urban management applications from the University of Twente in 1998, and his Master in Spatial Planning from Makerere University in 2000. He then received his Ph.D. in Urban Land Management from the Makerere University in 2004. His research has focused on African cities, applying interdisciplinary approaches.
