About me

Stefaan Poedts (PhD in Applied Mathematics, 1988) is full professor at the KU Leuven. His research focusses on solar physics and space weather (mathematical modelling of the solar corona, heliospheric wind and the onset and evolution of coronal mass ejections). He co-authored more than 415 articles in international peer reviewed journals and three CUP books. He teaches Calculus to bachelor students in mathematics and physics and Linear algebra and Differential equations to bachelor students bio-engineering.
