Dr Subas Dhakal is an academic in the field of sustainable development. Prior to joining Curtin University, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow under the federally funded CRN program implemented in a partnership between Southern Cross University and the University of Queensland. Subas has extensive professional experiences in various integrated conservation and development projects (ICDP) in South Asia, including programs funded by the United Nations and WWF. His research experiences/areas of interests include: Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR); Disaster Governance; Environmental Non-Profits; Green Employment/Skills; Social Entrepreneurship; and Sustainable Tourism in South Asia/Asia and the Pacific.
