Within her research and teaching, Carmen Leicht-Scholten deals with the embedding of social factors in research and innovation processes, i.e. with the social construction of science and technology. It is particularly desirable for her to involve social actors in engineering processes in order to achieve sustainability goals such as the SDGs.
