Upendra Bhandarkar

Dr. Upendra Bhandarkar has a B.Tech from IIT Bombay and an M.S and Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota, all in Mechanical Engineering. Since July 2004, he has been on the faculty of the Mechanical Engineering Department of IIT Bombay, where he is currently a Professor. He teaches courses related to Thermodynamics (classical and statistical) and its applications to various thermal machines. His research presently focuses on molecular simulation of fluid flow in rarefied systems.
