About me
Wynand Bodewes (1966) joined the Maastricht Centre for Entrepreneurship as a senior lecturer in January 2009. Wynand holds a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Business Administration (both obtained in Groningen) and received his PhD in General Management from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. During his PhD programme he was a visiting scholar at the Marshal School of Business, University of Southern California (USA). From 1998 until 2009 he was an assistant professor at RSM where he developed and coordinated its internationally acclaimed MSc programme on high-impact venturing. Wynand has very extensive experience in teaching a wide range of issues that relate to high-impact new business venturing, yet, his intellectual passions are growth, scalability and business modelling. Wynand occasionally coaches young and seasoned entrepreneurs, and speaks regularly about innovative entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial innovation at seminars and in-company workshops (e.g. for DSM Dyneema, ABN AMRO, Deloitte, ING, and the Port of Rotterdam).
