No previous programming skills are required to apply, however, it is recommended that applicants hold a bachelor’s degree and/or two years of work experience in business, finance, statistics, management, or a related field.

A curriculum that’s current: Learn where AI is now
Our rigorous AI boot camp curriculum reflects the latest in an ever-changing field. You will learn everything from “What is AI?” to machine learning optimization to emerging topics, such as generative AI, and the future of AI. Classes are delivered through high-quality coursework and live, online sessions led by instructors who are fully vetted by the university. That means you can ask questions in real-time, engage in discussion with fellow classmates, and feel supported as you learn something entirely new.
All instructors are assessed for not only their experience in the field, but also their ability to successfully communicate complex AI concepts in an online environment. Before and after class, instructors hold office hours where you can check in, ask questions, and problem solve on assignments.

To enroll in a boot camp, select your program of interest and complete the form. You will be contacted by an admissions advisor, who can answer any questions and help you with the process.
Our boot camps are designed for working adults, learners, and busy professionals, giving you the advantage of a flexible learning schedule. Learners enrolled in our part-time programs should expect to attend live, instructor-led classes each week, setting aside an additional 20+ hours outside of class for self-study and projects.
All boot camps are offered fully online and include live, virtual classroom sessions led by university-vetted instructors with ample professional experience in their respective fields.
Throughout your boot camp and your career, you will have access to edX career counselors that offer résumé review and interview prep, and you can tap into our global edX alumni community for even more networking opportunities. You will also gain access to a network of more than 250 employers — including half of the Fortune 100 — seeking skilled boot camp graduates.
At the end of the boot camp, you will receive a university-backed credential. You will also complete the program with a portfolio of work to show your skills to potential employers.
Boot camps are for anyone who is interested in advancing or getting started in a high-demand tech field. You do not need prior experience to apply to and succeed in a boot camp — you will receive academic and career support every step of the way.
While it’s not required, it is recommended that applicants hold a bachelor’s degree and/or two years of work experience in business, finance, statistics, management, or a related field for the AI boot camp.
