Immersions and clinicals

Learners receive hands-on training throughout the entire program both during eight on-campus immersions and in clinical settings.

During immersions, learners practice and assess patient needs, and have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience alongside their peers and under the guidance of their instructors.

Clinical education experiences, on the other hand, total 32 weeks, and have students work with patients in in-person clinical settings. Patients are varied, of all ages and backgrounds, and come from rehabilitation settings, facilities that provide specialized care, private offices, and general hospitals.
