Incoming Freshman
Get ahead and prepare for university by taking courses before you arrive on campus. Jump start your university education by taking courses now and finish university in less time.
Returning Freshman
Get back on your university degree path by earning credit in a more cost effective and flexible way. You do not need a transcript, GPA or an application to get started.
Educators and lifelong learners
Supplement your classroom curriculum with university level content to ensure your students are prepared for university, or recommend GFA to students who are trying to figure out their next steps post high school.
HOW IT WORKS
The Global Freshman Academy is designed to allow learners to earn university credit as simply as possible and without any barriers or restrictions. Watch our "How it Works" video, follow the steps below, or take our GFA Orientation Course to learn more about how to earn ASU credit.
- Register on edX.org. If you are already registered, just Login.
- Go to edX.org/gfa to find the available credit bearing courses - or just scroll down!
- Click on the course you are interested in and click "Enroll". Make sure you enroll in the Verified Track for $45 to ensure you are eligible for credit once the course is over.
- Enjoy the course. Meet others. Learn something new.
- When the course is over and you passed, click "Get Credit" on your dashboard under the course.
