Information literacy is critical for academic researchers. This course is designed to enhance learners' information literacy to support reflective discovery of information, effective use and evaluation of information, and ethical communication throughout their academic careers.
Information literacy is a comprehensive set of abilities that include reflective discovery of information, understanding of how information is produced and evaluated, and using information to create new knowledge and participate ethically in learning communities (ACRL, 2016). Information literacy courses discuss information-related methods and skills. These methods and techniques will benefit you throughout your life, no matter your current age or your professional background.
