Choose the track that best fits you
The DataScience@Denver curriculum prepares learners to design tools that collect, evaluate and interpret data to inform critical decisions. Through rigorous, mathematically-based coursework, learners master advanced concepts to tackle the world’s most important big-data challenges.
- The Accelerated Track: designed for learners with a background in computer science and who have tested out of the foundational courses. This track can be completed in 18 months, with two courses per term. Some featured courses include Algorithms for Data Science, Machine Learning, and Parallel and Distributed Computing.
- The Standard Track: for learners without a background in computer science. You will need to take foundational courses during the first two terms. This track can be completed in 24 months, with two courses per term. The three foundational courses are Foundations in Python Programming, Foundations in Data Science Mathematics I, and Foundations in Data Science Mathematics II.
The Ritchie School of Engineering and Computer Science seeks driven individuals with strong analytical skills and any level of computer science background. GRE scores are not required. In addition to holding a bachelor’s degree and an undergraduate cumulative GPA of 2.5, you will need to submit the following items:
