Brian Hung-Hin LANG

Prof. Brian Lang is currently the Professor in Surgery and Division Chief of Endocrine Surgery at Queen Mary Hospital, Hong Kong. He also serves as the Director of the Surgical Skills Training Center at the Department of Surgery.

He has published more than 150 articles in peer-reviewed international journals and 20 book chapters in thyroid diseases. His clinical and research interests include benign and malignant thyroid diseases, parathyroid tumors, adrenal and pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors. He has pioneered the use of high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) in the treatment of benign thyroid disease. He is the President of the Hong Kong Association of Endocrine Surgeons and is an editorial member of several international journals.
