Fundamentals of IBM Mainframe z/OS Environment is a mostly hands-on training experience. This is a follow up to the Introduction to IBM z/OS Mainframe course.
On successful completion of this course, the learners are eligible to claim the Introduction to z/OS Commands and Panels on IBM Z badge. - 10–12 hours per week, for 3 weeks
This course provides hands-on labs to everyday z/OS tasks with JCL, JES, ISHELL and HFS, and z/OSMF. Topics covered include VSAM, z/OS System Libraries, the Language Environment, Generation Data Groups, RAIM, DB2, UNIX System Services, and USS File System.
