Dimitre Milkov

About me
Dimitre Milkov is a Bulgarian national and holds a Ph.D. degree in economics from Northwestern University in the United States. He is an economist in the IMF Institute for Capacity Development. He joined the IMF in 2007 and has also worked in the African Department of the IMF where he participated in missions to Kenya and Cameroon. Prior to joining the IMF, he worked at the World Bank in Washington, DC on debt sustainability issues in low-income countries. His research focuses on a variety of issues in international economics, in particular, monetary policy in developing countries and debt sustainability.
