Nomusa Mazonde

Nomusa Benita Mazonde is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Wits Business School. Nomusa is a holder of a PhD from The University of the Witwatersrand - Wits Business School (WBS), Johannesburg, South Africa. She holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Investment from National University of Science and Technology (NUST) in Zimbabwe. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Financial Management and completed her Honours in Management from the University of South Africa (UNISA). In terms of research, her focus is on female related issues primarily in the realm of entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship. The foundations of her research interest were shaped at PhD level. Her research interests are female entrepreneurship, culture, gender, women’s related issues, social entrepreneurship and Qualitative Research methodology. She has publications in the abovementioned areas of interest. She has supervised several masters level students.
