Other applications including interior design, AR maintenance and gaming all apply AR effects to various scenarios providing solutions or processes for decision making or simply entertainment!

Spark AR Studio is an augmented reality platform for Mac and Windows that allows for the creation of AR effects and filters for AR experiences. Spark AR Studio allows you to create your own AR effects from simple graphics to more elaborate world-building animation. You will also gain access to the AR Library which serves as a starting point for 3D files and sounds. Learning how to use these tools could be your first step towards becoming a professional creator, ultimately allowing you to become a Meta-certified professional.

Spark AR Studio makes advanced AR technology more accessible than ever, allowing anyone who has an interest in creating Spark AR effects to do so without extensive IT qualifications. The Spark AR Foundation program contains two courses: Getting Started with Spark AR and Creating and Designing with Spark AR Fundamentals. Both courses provide a good foundation for entering the digital world of Spark AR, providing unique insights into creating unique AR effects.

Course 1: Getting Started with Spark AR is an introduction to Spark AR Studio and gives you the tools to start developing your own AR effects without requiring a technical background.

Course 2: Creating and Designing with Spark AR Fundamentals is designed for Spark AR creators and creative professionals eager to learn fundamental AR design principles and AR creation skills using Spark AR Studio.

Several theoretical sections, tutorials and immersive activities develop your ability to apply foundational skills in Spark AR Studio effectively. The program will allow you to create AR effects and publish them on various Android and iPhone devices for the world to use on Meta’s social media applications.

As part of its partnership with edX, Meta will provide a voucher for free access to its Spark AR Certification exam to the first 200 learners who complete Spark AR for Beginners Program on edX.org and receive a certificate of completion from edX. Learners who complete the certification will gain access to the Meta Career Programs Job Board , an exclusive job platform that connects learners who are certified in any Meta Certification with affiliated employers looking to hire talent.
