Mitch has a degree in psychology and marketing from the University of Arizona and is a graduate of UCLA's Sustainable Business and Management program. She is currently enrolled in the horticulture certificate program at UCLA and the master beekeeping program at UC Davis.
Mitch is passionate about climate change adaptation and protecting infrastructure and social goods like clean water, renewable energy, and ecosystem diversity. She volunteers as a beekeeper at several teaching apiaries and gives talks throughout Los Angeles on investing in native plants and supporting local pollinator habitats.
