Our mission is to enlist, develop, and mobilize as many as possible of our nation's most promising future leaders to grow and strengthen the movement for educational equity and excellence. Looking back over 25 years, we know that our corps members and alumni have played a vital role in fueling positive change, even though there is still much work to be done. The firm belief we had in 1990 that every child deserves a great education holds true. The challenges we’re working to address are still very real. We still believe that more exceptional teachers, more high-quality schools, more external supports, and more system-wide changes are needed to address these challenges. More than 50,000 corps members and alumni are on the leading edge of these efforts, and we’re looking to the future with optimism about what the next generation can do.
