Abe is an associate professor at McGill's Schulich School of Music. He studied saxophone, clarinet and flute and has toured the world with orchestras, chamber groups, theatre shows and artists. As well, he has performed on many television and radio shows, jingles, recordings and film music. He continues to teach at McGill and his current interests include chamber music, music professional development and video production. Part of Abe’s teaching involves developing proper technique in young musicians to avoid serious injury. He regularly invites a physiotherapist specializing in music playing related injuries to his class.
