Professor at École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne

Graduated from University of Paris XI (Orsay, France), Frédéric Courbin obtained his PhD from the University of Liège (Belgium). He is currently Professor of astrophysics at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). His main research topic is gravitational lensing and the determination of cosmological parameters. He has multiple responsibilities in the ESA Euclid space mission. He also developed a MOOC, “Introduction to Astrophysics”, on the edx.org platform.
