About Me

Kanako GOTO was born in Kobe, in Japan. Visiting Associate Professor at Université catholique de Louvain (UCL) and Associate Professor at University of Liège (ULg), both in Belgium, she is currently teaching Japanese Language, Literature and Civilization. PhD holder in French contemporary Literature and Rhetoric (University of Liège, 2008), Kanako is interested in function of Languages, particularly in culture-transmission process between Eastern and Western civilizations. She is also a sworn translator in French and Japanese for the Court of First Instance in Belgium.
