Kriselle Suson

Kriselle Suson Jónsdóttir grew up with multiple languages and currently, she and her husband cultivate a multilingual upbringing for their two children, ensuring that their family life is enriched by the daily use of English, Filipino, Icelandic, and Spanish. Driven by her personal experiences with multilingualism and cultural diversity, she has dedicated herself to fostering her academic expertise on this subject. Alongside her doctoral studies, she works as an educational consultant at the Department of Education, where she engages with and empowers families and educators with the tools and knowledge to support multilingual children's education in the city's preschools and primary schools. She is committed to bridging academic inquiry with practical applications and strives to contribute to multilingual children's language upbringing and education.
