Mark Bellingham

About me

Mark Bellingham is a neuroscientist. He heads the neurobiology of motor behaviour laboratory at The University of Queensland, a network member of the Motor Neuron Disease Collective. His research interests include electrophysiology of synaptic transmission, ion currents and central pattern generation in CNS neurons. In the laboratory Mark uses a variety of electrophysiological techniques to investigate central neurons, including in vitro slice and in vivo preparations, patch clamp techniques, imaging, molecular biology and computer modelling.
