Patrice Aubertin
About me
Mr. Patrice Aubertin is Director of Research and Teacher Training Programs at the National Circus School (NCS) in Montréal, Canada, and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Chair for Colleges in Circus Arts. His innovation and research interests focus on the social and physical impacts of circus arts practice in youth, circus arts pedagogy as well as creative-research, dramaturgy and creativity. Prior to his work at NSC, Mr. Aubertin worked at Cirque du Soleil for 10 years as acrobatic coach, artists’ training senior coordinator and Director of Research and Development- New creation projects.
