Ole Döring

Dr.Ole Doering is a German Philosopher, Sinologist and a writer, with a Doctorate in Chinese Bioethics and a Habilitation in Philosophy of Culture and Theory of Ethics. He is adjunct professor at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology Futures and co-founder of the Berlin Institute for Global Health, Germany. He specializes in Genetic Information, Ethics in Omics and cross-cultural Governance. Recently, he joined the editorial board of the Medicine in Omics Journal. His vast work is published widely. He plays an active role in engaging science-society interaction and advises stake holders, civil society organizations, companies and governmental bodies, especially in Sino-European interactions.
