Upon successful completion of Audio Production for Content Creators: Signal Flow & Introduction to Looping and Audio Production for Content Creators: Advanced Loop Creation and Underscoring, you will have the knowledge and skills to create professional audio:

  • Uncover how sound is recorded via microphones or imported via existing audio files, how it is mixed within a digital audio workstation, and how it can be edited and refined.
  • Learn how to render recordings to file formats recognized by other media, and then optimize to be played back on different types of sound systems.
  • Unpack the structure of a loop, and learn simple ways that loops can be effectively combined, edited and varied to repurpose and maximize your own developing audio library. Improve your recordings with personalized feedback.

Can I take this course if I have no skills in audio or music?

Yes, the course is intended for people who want to better understand how audio works and how loops can be manipulated to create your own music/audio production.

How complicated is the software?

We will use Ableton Live as it offers full features free for 90 days. Ableton is easy to use and can give you immediate feedback on the loops that you drag and drop within its intuitive interface.

Will I be able to write music of my own?

This course gives you a palette of loops that you can manipulate to create your own sounds. Combine that with a voice over track and you might have your own song to share with the world.
