About me

Olufisayo “Fisayo” Omojokun is the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education in the College of Computing at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2006 and has taught thousands of undergraduate and graduate students over the course of his academic career.

Dr. Omojokun has served as instructor of record across a broad range of computer science disciplines, including introductory programming, software engineering, theory, digital logic, cyber ethics, and computer law. His teaching and curriculum development efforts have been recognized through multiple honors at the College, Institute, and international levels.

His first edX MOOC, Introduction to Object-Oriented Programming with Java I, was recognized among the 100 most popular online courses of 2021. He continues to expand access to computing education through online and open learning initiatives.
